To properly reply, you must find out what strut you have, no point buying what you do not need. Fordem have made this thread, use it to measure and identify your strut.

I will be away in the next few days so ... if you have the low pan strut buying the high pan like these will able you to fit 225/75/16 on the io original wheel

IF YOU HAVE the low pan, fitting those (link above) with your spring will give you about 1 inch of lift at the front without doing any more. You can fit spacer later on to lift a bit more.

For the rear spring, the Mazda is the Astina, more about it there

Without going into the little details....
And I am assuming that you have the original strut fitted to your io, with the lower spring plate.
For the rear: the Mazda spring,
For the front new strut with the higher spring plate, your spring and a 20 mm spacer on the top of the strut. This set up is what Bob have done...and a few other without any problem reported yet.
This set up will allow you to fit 225/75/16.
Happy io
My io is now SOLD Thankshttp://pajerio.com/forum/claudes-io-2002-zr-built-thread-onlyhappy-io
