Ok for any one wanting to change thier springs for a bit of a lift (SWB),  Ive been down this long arduous road but have finally seen the light and the end of the spring.

I originaly purchased Dobinson springs ( lifted springs ) they are too tall for standard shocks ( Please note). The rear was never a problem only the front. I have now installed the front linear springs C43-120 and there is still a lift as these do not sag like the original. The pajero io is flying now, together with koni shocks ( strut has to be drilled before shock placement)

This was done in South Africa Gauteng N14x4 and had realy good service from them in regard to changing the springs with Dobinsons Australia.

So I can certainly recommend the front standard height !!

What I have now is

Front Standard Height 1 C43-120

Rear Raised Height (32mm Lift) 1 C43-135

Will post pics and get some measurements...

.

Hello from a fellow dobinson spring owner! Although I stayed with the spring you first tried and made up a strut extender like NZIOs.  Best mods I have done to the car.  Keen to see your photos.  Make sure you check out some of my later ones in my build thread.

On a side note, dobinson springs are made in Rockhampton Australia, the town I live one.  Probably the main reason I went with them over Kings.

hi,the konis that you

hi,
the konis that you installed, were they heavy tracks?
did they provide any suspension lift or any extra travel?
i only ask as thats the setup i hope to have one day, hopefully before christmas. im just a little optimistic in spending over $1000AU as i want to be able to achieve  a decent amount of lift without losing suspension travel...

Hi   They were the Koni raid

Hi

They were the Koni raid shocks..was a loooong arduous road to get to where I am now with the vehicle..

If you want those shocks you have to get the struts drilled to fit the koni insert. (They are the same size as the originals)  So no extra travel or lift from the shock.

But what a difference those shocks make !!!

So the only lift came from the springs even though they the standard size ( no lagging like the originals) If you go with the loner springs you have to insert a spacer otherwise the will top out.

Ive also put in a wildcat free flow exhause ( extractors ).
