G'Day IO Fiends

I have recently gotten an IO again after my first one met an untimely end.

I have had some mild "speed wobbles" where the car pitches side to side, start since getting the new car.

Getting under the car and racking the steering with the wheels on the ground the steering rack moves about 5-10 mm laterally.

I have had the rack out and replaced the bushes with OEM ones, checked the tie ends for play and the steering unis.

I checked the 01 manual about replacing this bush and couldn't find anything like if glue is used or something.

However, there is still a similar amount of play there.

How much play does everyone else have here if any or should I look at packing it out?

Cheers in advance.

Assuming

Look elsewhere for the cause of your "speed wobble" - the most likely cause is out of balance wheels, bent rims or damaged tires.
