My pajero pinin has the engine broken. I saw on the net that the 4g93 is the same engine of space star and carisma. The question is: are all the 4g93 suitable for pajero pinin (or IO)?
In short No... Not a direct drop in.
The Pinin / IO has a North South Engine config ....
All the rest are East West....
The internals are all the same but manifolds and fuel pumps etc etc are located in different spots due to the east west engine layout.
I even thing the engine blocks maybe slightly different due engine mount locations.
You would need to put them side by side and compare.
